AB256-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB256-AA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 6: delete lines 6 to 14 and substitute:

AB256-AA1,1,4 " Section 2d. 66.0501 (4) of the statutes is renumbered 66.0501 (4) (a) and amended to read:

AB256-AA1,1,9 66.0501 (4) (a) A volunteer fire fighter, emergency medical technician, or first responder in a city, village, or town whose annual compensation from one or more of those positions, including fringe benefits, does not exceed the amount specified in s. 946.13 (2) (a) $15,000 may also hold an elective office in that city, village, or town. It

AB256-AA1,1,12 (c) Under this subsection, it is compatible with his or her office for an elected town officer to receive wages under s. 60.37 (4) for work that he or she performs for the town.

AB256-AA1, s. 2g Section 2g. 66.0501 (4) (b) of the statutes is created to read:

AB256-AA1,2,4 66.0501 (4) (b) A part-time seasonal employee in a park and recreational program in a city, village, or town whose annual compensation from this position, including fringe benefits, does not exceed $2,500 may also hold an elective office in that city, village, or town.".
