AB259-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB259-AA2,1,3 1. Page 1, line 3: after "Program" insert "and the calculation of aid paid to the Milwaukee Public Schools".

AB259-AA2,1,5 " Section 4m. 121.07 (1) (a) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB259-AA2,2,2 121.07 (1) (a) The membership of the school district in the previous school year and the shared cost for the previous school year shall be used in computing general aid, except that for the school district operating under ch. 119, the sum of the membership in the previous school year and the difference, if positive, between the number of pupils participating in the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program under s. 119.23 in the previous school year and the number participating in the 2002-03 school year, shall be used in computing general aid. If a school district has a state trust fund loan as a result of s. 24.61 (3) (c) 2., the school district's debt service costs shall be based upon current school year costs for the term of the loan and for one additional school year.".
