ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2003 ASSEMBLY BILL 378

AB378-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB378-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 5: after "utilities" insert "and making an appropriation".

AB378-AA1,1,3 2. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

AB378-AA1,1,4 " Section 1b. 20.835 (1) (d) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB378-AA1,1,8 20.835 (1) (d) Shared revenue account. A sum sufficient to meet the requirements of the shared revenue account established under s. 79.01 (2) to provide for the distributions from the shared revenue account to counties, towns, villages and cities under ss. 79.03, 79.04 (1) to (4) and 79.06.

AB378-AA1, s. 1d Section 1d. 20.835 (1) (dm) of the statutes is created to read:

AB378-AA1,1,11 20.835 (1) (dm) Public utility distribution account. Beginning in 2005, a sum sufficient to make the payments under s. 79.04 (5), (6), and (7).".

AB378-AA1,1,12 3. Page 2, line 1: delete " Section 1" and substitute "Section 1m".

AB378-AA1,1,13 4. Page 4, line 4: after that line insert:

AB378-AA1,2,4 "(d) Replacing steam generating equipment at a combustion-based renewable facility, as defined in s. 196.378 (1) (g), to increase efficiency or capacity, if the facility remains a combustion-based renewable facility, as defined in s. 196.378 (1) (g), after replacing the equipment.

AB378-AA1, s. 7m Section 7m. 79.01 (2m) of the statutes is created to read:

AB378-AA1,2,9 79.01 (2m) There is established an account in the general fund entitled the "Public Utility Distribution Account," referred to in this chapter as the "public utility account." There shall be appropriated to the public utility account the sums specified in s. 79.04 (5), (6), and (7).".

AB378-AA1,2,10 5. Page 9, line 15: delete "shared" and substitute "public utility".

AB378-AA1,2,11 6. Page 9, line 16: delete "revenue".

AB378-AA1,2,12 7. Page 10, line 6: delete "shared revenue" and substitute "public utility".
