AB418-ASA1-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB418-ASA1-AA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 3: after "serve" insert ", or is serving,".

AB418-ASA1-AA1,1,3 2. Page 2, line 13: delete lines 13 and 14 and substitute:

AB418-ASA1-AA1,1,6 "(2) Subject to sub. (3), on or after January 1, 2003, a state employee who is required to serve, or who is serving, in the U.S. public health service and who is on detail with any of the".

AB418-ASA1-AA1,1,7 3. Page 3, line 10: after that line insert:

AB418-ASA1-AA1,1,10 "(c) No employee who is eligible to receive the pay and benefits under sub. (1) or (2) may receive the pay or benefits for any service in the U.S. armed forces or the U.S. public health service for any such service before January 1, 2003.".
