ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 3, TO 2003 ASSEMBLY BILL 536

AB536-AA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB536-AA3,1,2 1. Page 1, line 3: delete "dog licensing,".

AB536-AA3,1,3 2. Page 4, line 17: delete lines 17 to 19 and substitute:

AB536-AA3,1,8 "(3) Fees. A person required to have a license under sub. (2) shall pay to the department an annual fee of $75 for an animal shelter or $250 for any other facility or activity, except that the department may establish lower fees by rule. A fee paid under this subsection by an applicant for a license is not refundable if the department denies the license.".

AB536-AA3,1,10 3. Page 6, line 5: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 7, line 12.

AB536-AA3,1,11 4. Page 7, line 16: substitute "5.0" for "7.0".

AB536-AA3,1,12 5. Page 7, line 22: substitute "October" for "February".
