ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2003 ASSEMBLY BILL 573

AB573-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB573-AA1,1,3 1. Page 3, line 23: after "use" insert "or that is certified by the manufacturer as meeting the equipment standards for a low-speed vehicle under 49 CFR 571.500".

AB573-AA1,1,4 2. Page 3, line 25: delete "349" and substitute "347".

AB573-AA1,1,5 3. Page 4, line 22: after "for the" insert "state or local governmental".

AB573-AA1,1,8 4. Page 4, line 24: delete that line and substitute "performing incidental street maintenance, and is operated on a highway for a distance not to exceed one half mile.".
