ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 6, TO ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2003 ASSEMBLY BILL 61

AB61-ASA1-AA6,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB61-ASA1-AA6,1,4 1. Page 3, line 20: delete "A local government" and substitute "Except for applications under subd. 6. that are approved by the commission, a local government".

AB61-ASA1-AA6,1,5 2. Page 4, line 13: delete "subd. 1." and substitute "subd. 1. or 6.".

AB61-ASA1-AA6,1,8 3. Page 4, line 16: delete "A local government" and substitute "Except for applications under subd. 6. that are approved by the commission, a local government".

AB61-ASA1-AA6,1,10 4. Page 4, line 22: after "subd. 4.," insert "and except for applications under subd. 6. that are approved by the commission,".

AB61-ASA1-AA6,2,2 5. Page 5, line 5: delete "In each county" and substitute "Except for applications under subd. 6. that are approved by the commission, in each county".

AB61-ASA1-AA6,2,5 6. Page 5, line 8: delete "A local government" and substitute "Except for applications under subd. 6. that are approved by the commission, a local government".

AB61-ASA1-AA6,2,6 7. Page 5, line 14: after that line insert:

AB61-ASA1-AA6,2,14 "6. A local government located in a county with a population greater than 50,000 that operates a wireless public safety answering point, or local governments located in counties with populations greater than 50,000 that jointly operate a wireless public safety answering point, that is not specified in a resolution under subd. 3. are eligible for grants under par. (d) if the local government or local governments apply to the commission, no later than the first day of the 11th month beginning after the effective date of this subdivision .... [revisor inserts date], with an estimate and supporting documentation of the costs specified in subd. 1.".

AB61-ASA1-AA6,2,17 8. Page 6, line 3: after "local government" insert ", and except that for applications under par. (c) 6., the grants shall be limited to 50% of the costs approved under subd. 1.".
