ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 11, TO ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2003 ASSEMBLY BILL 67

AB67-ASA1-AA11,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB67-ASA1-AA11,1,4 1. Page 3, line 2: before the colon insert ", unless the employee or prospective employee does not apply the refusal in the same manner to all patients and prospective patients".

AB67-ASA1-AA11,1,6 2. Page 5, line 16: delete "No hospital" and substitute "No Except as provided in sub. (4m), no hospital".

AB67-ASA1-AA11,1,8 3. Page 5, line 18: delete that line and substitute "procedure or removing a human embryo or fetus. A any of the following:".

AB67-ASA1-AA11,1,9 4. Page 5, line 19: delete that line and substitute:

AB67-ASA1-AA11,1,11 "(b) Except as provided in sub. (4m), a physician or any other person who is a member of or associated with the".

AB67-ASA1-AA11,2,12 253.09 (4m) (a) Subsections (1r) (b) and (c), (2), and (3) do not apply unless a physician, employee, or other person who refuses to participate in an activity specified in sub. (1r) (a) 1. to 8. makes the same refusal with respect to all patients and prospective patients.

AB67-ASA1-AA11,2,16 (b) Subsection (1r) (a) does not apply unless a hospital that refuses to admit a patient or allow the use of the hospital facilities for a patient for the purpose of performing any activity specified in sub. (1r) (a) 1 to 8. makes the same refusal for all patients and prospective patients.".
