ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 3, TO ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2003 ASSEMBLY BILL 67

AB67-ASA1-AA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB67-ASA1-AA3,1,3 1. Page 3, line 2: before the colon insert ", except for a refusal to participate that would endanger the health or life of a patient".

AB67-ASA1-AA3,1,4 2. Page 3, line 9: delete lines 9 to 11 and substitute:

AB67-ASA1-AA3,1,8 "5. An experiment or medical procedure on a human embryo that is not related to the beneficial treatment of the human embryo, except for an experiment or medical procedure concerning prenatal care or tests or health care or medical tests needed by a pregnant woman.".

AB67-ASA1-AA3,1,12 3. Page 5, line 18: delete that line and substitute "procedure or removing a human embryo or fetus. A any of the following, unless the failure to admit a patient or to allow the use of the hospital facilities would endanger the health or life of a patient:".
