ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2003 ASSEMBLY BILL 833

AB833-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB833-AA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 4: after "drivers" insert "and audit of the Department of Transportation".

AB833-AA1,1,4 2. Page 4, line 19: after that line insert:

AB833-AA1,1,5 " Section 7g. Nonstatutory provisions.

AB833-AA1,1,11 (1) The legislative audit bureau shall perform an audit of the department of transportation's expenditures of revenues received from applications for the original issuance and renewal of, and from administration of knowledge tests and driving skills tests related to, operators' licenses authorizing operation of "Class D" vehicles. The legislative audit bureau shall file its report, in the manner described under section 13.94 (1) (b) of the statutes, no later than June 29, 2005.

AB833-AA1,2,2 (1) This act takes effect on the day after the legislative audit bureau files its report as specified in Section 7g (1) of this act.".
