AB869-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB869-AA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 8: after that line insert:

AB869-AA1,1,3 " Section 1m. Nonstatutory provisions.

AB869-AA1,1,10 (1) The board of regents of the University of Wisconsin System shall reimburse any student described under section 36.27 (2) (b) 4. of the statutes, as created by this act, who is enrolled in the University of Wisconsin System in the 2003-04 spring semester, an amount equal to the difference between the nonresident tuition paid by the student and the academic fees the student would have paid had section 36.27 (2) (b) 4. of the statutes, as created by this act, been in effect for the 2003-04 spring semester.".

AB869-AA1,1,11 2. Page 2, line 10: delete lines 10 and 11 and substitute:

AB869-AA1,2,2 "(1m) This act first applies retroactively to students who enrolled for classes in the spring semester of the 2003-04 academic year.".
