AJR71-ASA1,1,5 Relating to: the policy of the U.S. food and drug administration of not allowing individuals and pharmacies in the United States to import and re-import prescription medications purchased in other countries that have regulatory safeguards for the manufacture and distribution of drugs as strict as the regulatory safeguards in the United States.

AJR71-ASA1,1,12 Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the Wisconsin state legislature encourages the U.S. food and drug administration to find a safe and legal way to allow the importation and reimportation of prescription medications, such as allowing licensed pharmacies and distributors in the United States to import medications purchased through safe and legal channels from countries that have regulatory safeguards for the manufacture and distribution of drugs as strict as the regulatory safeguards in the United States.
