ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 33, TO 2003 SENATE BILL 214

SB214-AA33,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the engrossed bill as follows:

SB214-AA33,1,5 1. Page 30, line 20: delete "with any sheriff" and substitute "only with the sheriff of his or her county of residence or, if that sheriff is a party to an agreement under sub. (2) (c), the sheriff who issues licenses for that county under the agreement".

SB214-AA33,1,7 2. Page 43, line 1: delete "The sheriff" and substitute "Except as provided in par. (d) 1., the sheriff".

SB214-AA33,1,8 3. Page 43, line 17: delete that line and substitute:

SB214-AA33,1,11 "(d) 1. If, on the date on which a license expires, the licensee does not reside in the county in which he or she resided when the license was issued, the sheriff who issued the license may not renew it and the license shall permanently expire.

SB214-AA33,1,12 2. If an individual whose license has expired does not submit a renewal".

SB214-AA33,1,13 4. Page 43, line 19: delete that line and substitute "permanently expire.

SB214-AA33,2,1 3. An individual whose license has permanently expired may be.".
