SENATE AMENDMENT 32, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 2, TO 2003 SENATE BILL 214

SB214-SSA2-SA32,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB214-SSA2-SA32,1,3 1. Page 12, line 14: delete "or authorization" and substitute "; notice in dwellings".

SB214-SSA2-SA32,1,4 2. Page 12, line 16: after "(c)" insert ", 943.14,".

SB214-SSA2-SA32,1,5 3. Page 12, line 23: after that line insert:

SB214-SSA2-SA32,1,8 "(d) If a licensee or out-of-state licensee is carrying a concealed weapon in a dwelling that he or she does not own or legally occupy, the licensee or out-of-state licensee shall notify the owner or occupant of the dwelling.".

SB214-SSA2-SA32, s. 53k Section 53k. 943.14 (2) of the statutes is created to read:

SB214-SSA2-SA32,2,11 943.14 (2) No individual may intentionally enter or remain in the dwelling of another without the consent of some person lawfully upon the premises after having told the person that he or she is going armed with a concealed and dangerous weapon. A person who violates this prohibition is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.".
