SB25-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB25-SA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 5: after that line insert:

SB25-SA1,1,3 " Section 2. Nonstatutory provisions.

SB25-SA1,1,8 "(1) For the purpose of implementing this act as provided in Section 3 of this act, the school board of a nonresident school district may create a waiting list for pupils whose applications to attend school in the nonresident school district in the 2003-04 school year were rejected on or before April 11, 2003, because of lack of space, as provided in section 118.51 (5) (a) 1. of the statutes.

SB25-SA1, s. 3 Section 3. Initial applicability.

SB25-SA1,1,11 (1) This act first applies to applications submitted for attendance in a nonresident school district in the 2003-04 school year.".
