SENATE AMENDMENT 19, TO 2003 SENATE BILL 41

SB41-SA19,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB41-SA19,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: delete "sub." and substitute "subs. (1m) and".

SB41-SA19,1,3 2. Page 2, line 3: after that line insert:

SB41-SA19,1,4 " Section 1m. 14.035 (1m) of the statutes is created to read:

SB41-SA19,1,9 14.035 (1m) Before the governor begins to negotiate any compact under sub. (1), the legislature must pass a joint resolution specifying the parameters and subjects of negotiation. The governor may not submit any compact to the legislature under sub. (2) that contains terms not within the parameters or subjects of negotiation contained in the joint resolution.".
