SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2003 SENATE BILL 410

SB410-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB410-SA1,1,4 1. Page 1, line 2: after "program" insert ", defining administrative expenses for purposes of fire prevention and fire dues administration, and requiring the exercise of rule-making authority".

SB410-SA1,1,5 2. Page 2, line 1: delete that line and substitute:

SB410-SA1,1,6 " Section 1g. 101.573 (5) of the statutes is created to read:

SB410-SA1,1,8 101.573 (5) The department shall promulgate a rule defining "administrative expenses" for purposes of s. 20.143 (3) (La).

SB410-SA1, s. 1m Section 1m. 101.575 (4) (a) 1. of the statutes is amended to read:".

SB410-SA1,1,10 3. Page 2, line 14: after that line insert:

SB410-SA1,1,11 " Section 2m. Nonstatutory provisions.

SB410-SA1,2,3 (1t) Fire prevention and fire dues administration. The department of commerce shall submit in proposed form the rules required under section 101.573 (5) of the statutes, as created by this act, to the legislative council staff under section 227.15 (1) of the statutes no later than the first day of the 6th month beginning after the effective date of this subsection.".

SB410-SA1,2,5 4. Page 2, line 16: delete "This act" and substitute "Fire dues distribution. The treatment of section 101.575 (4) (a) 1. and 2. of the statutes".

SB410-SA1,2,6 5. Page 2, line 18: delete that line and substitute:

SB410-SA1,2,8 " Section 4m. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after publication, except as follows:".

SB410-SA1,2,10 6. Page 2, line 19: delete "This act" and substitute "Fire dues distribution. The treatment of section 101.575 (4) (a) 1. and 2. of the statutes".
