SB44-AA11,1,3 31. Page 1072, line 22: delete lines 22 to 24.
SB44-AA11,1,4 42. Page 1073, line 1: delete lines 1 and 2.
SB44-AA11,1,5 53. Page 1073, line 4: delete lines 4 and 5 and substitute:
SB44-AA11,1,6 6"(11ff) Medical Assistance federal funding implementation.
SB44-AA11,2,27 (a) If, before July 1, 2005, the department of health and family services
8determines that sufficient federal Medical Assistance Program moneys received
9under 42 CFR 433.51 are available to support any of the following, at the level of
10funding recommended by the governor in 2003 Senate Bill 44, and if projected
11revenues equal or exceed projected expenditures, as identified in subsection (10f) (b),
12the secretary of health and family services shall submit to the joint committee on
13finance a plan concerning any of the following that is able to be supported by the

1moneys, including any proposed appropriation transfers that are necessary to
2implement the plan:
SB44-AA11,2,43 1. Administrative costs for implementing created or expanded claims for
4federal Medical Assistance Program moneys under 42 CFR 433.51.
SB44-AA11,2,55 2. Noninstitutional Medical Assistance service provider rates.
SB44-AA11,2,76 3. Expanded services and increased rates for services under sections 46.27 (11),
746.277, and 46.278 of the statutes, as affected by this act.
SB44-AA11,2,98 4. Expansion of the family care benefit, as defined in section 46.2805 (4) of the
9statutes, in Kenosha County.
SB44-AA11,2,1910 (b) If the cochairpersons of the committee do not notify the secretary of health
11and family services within 14 working days after the date of the secretary's submittal
12that the committee has scheduled a meeting for the purpose of reviewing the plan,
13the department of health and family services may implement the plan, including
14making appropriation transfers, as proposed. If, within 14 working days after the
15date of the secretary's submittal, the cochairpersons of the committee notify the
16secretary of health and family services that the committee has scheduled a meeting
17for the purpose of reviewing the proposed plan, the department of health and family
18services may implement the plan, including making appropriation transfers, only
19upon approval of the committee.".
