SB44-SSA1-SA47,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:
SB44-SSA1-SA47,1,4 21. Page 214, line 13: decrease the dollar amount for fiscal year 2003-04 by
3$50,000 and decrease the dollar amount for fiscal year 2004-05 by $50,000 to
4decrease funding for the hotline for reporting dangerous weapons in schools.

3department shall purchase public information and promotion services regarding the
4toll-free telephone number under sub. (2). The department and any agency
5providing publicity services under this subsection shall
cooperate with the
6department of public instruction in publicizing, in public schools, the use of the
7toll-free telephone number under sub. (2).".

The department of justice shall notify all school districts, by electronic mail
11or any other appropriate means, that the department no longer operates a hotline
12for persons to report dangerous weapons in public schools.".
