SB44-SSA1-SA68,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB44-SSA1-SA68,1,2 1. Page 309, line 5: after that line insert:

SB44-SSA1-SA68,1,3 " Section 435d. 20.395 (5) (iv) of the statutes is amended to read:

SB44-SSA1-SA68,1,8 20.395 (5) (iv) Municipal and county registration fee, local funds. All moneys received under s. 341.35, less the portion of the fee attributable to the department's administrative costs, for the purpose of remitting the municipal or county registration fee to the municipality or county under s. 341.35 (6) and for the purpose specified in s. 84.014 (5s).".

SB44-SSA1-SA68,1,10 " Section 1672r. 84.014 (5s) of the statutes is created to read:

SB44-SSA1-SA68,2,3 84.014 (5s) Notwithstanding subs. (2), (5), and (5m), if any southeast Wisconsin freeway rehabilitation project involves adding one or more lanes or otherwise expanding capacity for vehicular traffic on an existing freeway in the city of Milwaukee, that portion of the project attributable to this lane addition or capacity expansion may be funded only from the appropriation under s. 20.395 (5) (iv).".

SB44-SSA1-SA68,2,6 " Section 2516r. 341.35 (6) of the statutes is renumbered 341.35 (6) (a) and amended to read:

SB44-SSA1-SA68,2,12 341.35 (6) (a) Department to remit fees to municipalities and counties. Beginning Except as provided in par. (b), beginning July 1, 1984, and annually thereafter, the department shall remit those moneys collected under this section, less administrative costs under sub. (6m), to any municipality or county which has imposed a fee under this section. The department may by rule provide that the moneys be remitted at more frequent intervals if the department deems it advisable.

SB44-SSA1-SA68, s. 2516s Section 2516s. 341.35 (6) (b) of the statutes is created to read:

SB44-SSA1-SA68,2,21 341.35 (6) (b) Subject to sub. (6m), if any southeast Wisconsin freeway rehabilitation project involves adding one or more lanes or otherwise expanding capacity for vehicular traffic on an existing freeway in the city of Milwaukee, all moneys collected by the department under this section from Waukesha County or any municipality in Waukesha County, less administrative costs under sub. (6m), shall first be expended by the department for the purpose specified in s. 84.014 (5s), and shall be remitted to Waukesha County or any municipality in Waukesha County only after all expenditure obligations specified in s. 84.014 (5s) have been met.".
