SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2003 SENATE BILL 460

SB460-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB460-SA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

SB460-SA1,1,4 " Section 1d. 20.143 (1) (ie) of the statutes, as affected by 2003 Wisconsin Act 33, is amended to read:

SB460-SA1,2,4 20.143 (1) (ie) Wisconsin development fund, repayments. All moneys received in repayment of grants or loans under s. 560.085 (4) (b), 1985 stats., s. 560.147, s. 560.16, 1995 stats., s. 560.165, 1993 stats., subch. V of ch. 560 except s. 560.65, 1989 Wisconsin Act 336, section 3015 (1m), 1989 Wisconsin Act 336, section 3015 (2m), 1989 Wisconsin Act 336, section 3015 (3gx), 1997 Wisconsin Act 27, section 9110 (7f), 1997 Wisconsin Act 310, section 2 (2d), and 1999 Wisconsin Act 9, section 9110 (4), to be used for grants and loans under subch. V of ch. 560 except s. 560.65, for loans under s. 560.147, for grants under ss. 560.16 and 560.175, for assistance under s. 560.06 (2), for the loan under 1999 Wisconsin Act 9, section 9110 (4), for the grant under 2001 Wisconsin Act 16, section 9110 (7g), for the grants under 2003 Wisconsin Act 33, section 9109 (1d) and (2q), and for reimbursements under s. 560.167. No moneys may be encumbered under this paragraph for grants under s. 560.25 after June 30, 2003.".

SB460-SA1,2,6 3. Page 2, line 7: after " grants." insert:

SB460-SA1,2,8 4. Page 2, line 10: delete "$900,000" and substitute "$750,000".

SB460-SA1,2,9 5. Page 2, line 11: delete "$1,400,000" and substitute "750,000".

SB460-SA1,2,10 6. Page 2, line 12: after that line insert:

SB460-SA1,2,15 "(b) In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of commerce under section 20.143 (1) (c) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2003, the dollar amount is decreased by $1,500,000 for fiscal year 2003-04 to decrease funding for the purpose for which the appropriation is made.".
