AB100-ASA1-AA23,1,2 21. Page 357, line 19: after that line insert:
AB100-ASA1-AA23,1,3 3" Section 541r. 27.01 (3m) of the statutes is created to read:
AB100-ASA1-AA23,1,64 27.01 (3m) Closure of state parks and entrances; hearing. (a) The
5department may not close any entrance to a state park without first holding a public
6hearing in the state park or in the county in which the entrance is located.
AB100-ASA1-AA23,1,97 (b) The department may not close a state park without first holding a public
8hearing in the state park or in a county in which the state park, or a portion of the
9state park, is located.
AB100-ASA1-AA23,2,310 (c) The department shall publish notice of a hearing required under par. (a) or
11(b) as a class 1 notice under ch. 985. The department may give such further notice
12as it considers proper, and shall give individual notice to persons specifically

1requesting notice of any public hearing on the closure. Notwithstanding s. 227.42,
2the hearing shall be an informational hearing and may not be treated as a contested
3case hearing or converted to a contested case hearing.".
