SENATE AMENDMENT 36, TO 2005 ASSEMBLY BILL 100

AB100-SA36,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the engrossed bill as follows:

AB100-SA36,1,4 1. Page 97, line 19: increase the dollar amount for fiscal year 2005-06 by $9,343,300 and increase the dollar amount for fiscal year 2006-07 by $10,412,700 to increase funding for the purpose for which the appropriation is made.

AB100-SA36,1,5 2. Page 413, line 5: after that line insert:

AB100-SA36,1,6 " Section 741m. 43.24 (1) (c) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB100-SA36,1,12 43.24 (1) (c) (intro.) Beginning in the fiscal year in which the total amount of state aid appropriated for public library systems under s. 20.255 (3) (e) and (qm), as determined by the department, equals at least 11.25% 13% of the total operating expenditures for public library services from local and county sources in the calendar year ending in that fiscal year, the amount paid to each system shall be determined by adding the result of each of the following calculations:".
