AB1174-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB1174-AA1,1,6 21. Page 2, line 16: delete lines 16 and 17 and substitute "service member has
3been issued orders into active duty by giving written notice to the mobile telephone
4service provider. The notice may be given by 1st class mail to the mobile telephone
5service provider or by delivering written notice to the mobile telephone service
6provider's branch office.".
AB1174-AA1,1,7 72. Page 3, line 8: after that line insert:
AB1174-AA1,2,2 8"(g) If a mobile telephone service provider assesses a person in military service
9any penalty or fee after the person has terminated the contract under par. (c) or fails
10to make any refund required under par. (e), the service member shall have the right
11to receive damages equal to 3 times the amount of any penalty or fee assessed or

1refund denied, exemplary damages not to exceed $10,000, and any legal costs and
2disbursements, including reasonable attorney fees.".
