ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2005 ASSEMBLY BILL 188

AB188-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB188-AA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 6: delete lines 6 to 8 and substitute:

AB188-AA1,1,7 "(a) The message invites another person to communicate with the individual, the actor intends that the individual be harassed by the communication and intends that the communication serve no legitimate purpose, and as a result of the message, another person makes a communication to the individual violating sub. (2) or (3) or s. 947.012 or 947.013.".

AB188-AA1,1,8 2. Page 2, line 9: after "another" insert "person".

AB188-AA1,2,2 3. Page 2, line 12: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 3, line 4, and substitute "intends that another person send such mail or such a message to the individual or make such a telephone call to the individual, the actor intends that the individual be frightened, intimidated, threatened, abused, or harassed by the invited mail, message, or telephone call, and as a result of the message, another person makes a communication to the individual violating sub. (2) or (3) or s. 947.012 or 947.013.".
