AB414-SA1,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by assembly substitute amendment 1, as follows:

AB414-SA1,1,4 1. Page 3, line 5: delete "A" and substitute "1. Except as provided in subd. 2., a".

AB414-SA1,1,5 2. Page 3, line 7: after that line insert:

AB414-SA1,1,12 "2. An ordinance enacted or resolution adopted by a county, city, village, or town before the effective date of this subdivision .... [revisor inserts date], that regulates smoking in that county, city, village, or town remains in effect if the ordinance or resolution is at least as strict as the provisions of this section. If the county, city, village, or town amends that ordinance or resolution on or after the effective date of this subdivision .... [revisor inserts date], the ordinance or resolution, as amended, shall strictly conform with this section.".
