AB557-AA5,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB557-AA5,1,2 21. Page 2, line 5: after that line insert:
AB557-AA5,1,5 3"(ar) "City, town, or village of residence" means the city, town, or village in
4which a sex offender resided when he or she committed the offense that resulted in
5his or her being subject to s. 301.45 (1g).".
AB557-AA5,1,6 62. Page 3, line 1: delete lines 1 to 3 and substitute:
AB557-AA5,1,12 7"(d) 1. "Sex offender" means a person who is subject to s. 301.45 (1g) because
8he or she violated, or solicited, conspired, or attempted to commit a violation of, s.
9948.02, 948.025, 948.05, 948.055, 948.06, 948.07, 948.075, 948.08, 948.095, 948.11
10(2) (a) or (am), 948.12, 948.13, or 948.30; of s. 940.30 or 940.31 if the victim was a
11minor and the person who committed the violation was not the victim's parent; or of
12a comparable offense in another jurisdiction.

12. "Sex offender" does not include a person who, as a result of a proceeding
2under s. 301.45 (1m), is not required to comply with the reporting requirements of
3s. 301.45.".

AB557-AA5,2,7 5"(2m) A sex offender must live in his or her city, town, or village of residence.
6This subsection does not apply to a sex offender while he or she is confined in an adult
7or juvenile correctional facility, a jail, or a house of corrections.".

AB557-AA5,2,9 95. Page 4, line 3: after that line insert:
AB557-AA5,2,10 10" Section 3m. Initial applicability.
AB557-AA5,2,16 11(1m) The treatment of section 301.48 (2m) of the statutes first applies to a sex
12offender who is released from an adult or juvenile correctional facility, a jail, or a
13house of corrections on the effective date of this subsection or to a person who is
14required to register as a sex offender beginning on the effective date of this
15subsection. In this subsection, "sex offender" has the meaning given in section
16301.48 (1) (d) of the statutes, as created by this act.".
