AB623-ASA1,1,2 An Act to create 77.54 (30) (a) 7. of the statutes; relating to: a sales and use tax exemption for electricity and fuel used in research and development.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

AB623-ASA1, s. 1 Section 1. 77.54 (30) (a) 7. of the statutes is created to read:

AB623-ASA1,1,5 77.54 (30) (a) 7. Electricity and fuel consumed in qualified research as defined in section 41 (d) of the Internal Revenue Code.

AB623-ASA1, s. 2 Section 2. Effective date.

AB623-ASA1,1,7 (1) This act takes effect on July 1, 2007.
