AB69-ASA1-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:
AB69-ASA1-AA1,1,2 21. Page 2, line 3: after that line insert:

8(this act), is amended to read:
AB69-ASA1-AA1,2,169 343.50 (4) Application. The application for an identification card shall include
10any information required under ss. 85.103 (2) and 343.14 (2) (a), (b), (bm), (br), and
11(em), and (er), and such further information as the department may reasonably
12require to enable it to determine whether the applicant is entitled by law to an
13identification card. The department shall, as part of the application process, take a
14photograph of the applicant to comply with sub. (3). No application may be processed
15without the photograph being taken. Misrepresentations in violation of s. 343.14 (5)
16are punishable as provided in s. 343.14 (9).".
AB69-ASA1-AA1,2,17 177. Page 4, line 6: after that line insert:
AB69-ASA1-AA1,2,19 18" Section 7m. 343.50 (5) of the statutes, as affected by 2005 Wisconsin Act ....
19(this act), is amended to read:
AB69-ASA1-AA1,3,620 343.50 (5) Valid period; fees. The fee for an original card and for the
21reinstatement of an identification card after cancellation under sub. (10) shall be $9.
22The card shall be valid for the succeeding period of 4 years from the applicant's next
23birthday after the date of issuance, except that a card that is issued to a person who
24is not a United States citizen and who provides documentary proof of legal status as

1provided under s. 343.14 (2) (er) shall expire on the date that the person's legal
2presence in the United States is no longer authorized. If the documentary proof as
3provided under s. 343.14 (2) (er) does not state the date that the person's legal
4presence in the United States is no longer authorized, then the card shall be valid
5for the succeeding period of 4 years from the applicant's next birthday after the date
6of issuance
.".

AB69-ASA1-AA1,3,9 8" Section 8m. 343.50 (6) of the statutes, as affected by 2005 Wisconsin Act ....
9(this act), is amended to read:
AB69-ASA1-AA1,3,2210 343.50 (6) Renewal. At least 30 days prior to the expiration of the card, the
11department shall mail a renewal application to the last-known address of each
12identification card holder. The department shall include with the application
13information, as developed by all organ procurement organizations in cooperation
14with the department, that promotes anatomical donations and which relates to the
15anatomical donation opportunity available under s. 343.175. The fee for a renewal
16identification card shall be $9, which card shall be valid for 4 years , except that a card
17that is issued to a person who is not a United States citizen and who provides
18documentary proof of legal status as provided under s. 343.14 (2) (er) shall expire on
19the date that the person's legal presence in the United States is no longer authorized.
20If the documentary proof as provided under s. 343.14 (2) (er) does not state the date
21that the person's legal presence in the United States is no longer authorized, then
22the card shall be valid for 4 years
.".

1" Section 9m. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after
2publication, except as follows:
AB69-ASA1-AA1,4,6 3(1) The repeal of sections 343.06 (1) (L), 343.14 (2) (er), 343.17 (3) (a) 14., and
4343.20 (1) (f) and (1m) of the statutes and the amendment of sections 343.50 (4) (by
5Section 6m), 343.50 (5) (by Section 7m), and 343.50 (6) (by Section 8m) of the
6statutes take effect on January 1, 2009.".
