SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO 2005 ASSEMBLY BILL 69

AB69-SA2,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by assembly substitute amendment 1, as follows:

AB69-SA2,1,3 1. Page 4, line 20: after that line insert:

AB69-SA2,1,4 " Section 8m. Nonstatutory provisions.

AB69-SA2,2,2 (1) The department of transportation shall conduct a study that compares the number of unlicensed drivers and drivers who operate a motor vehicle without liability insurance for motor vehicle accidents before the effective date of this subsection and the number of unlicensed drivers and drivers who operate a motor vehicle without liability insurance for motor vehicle accidents after the effective date of this subsection and shall prepare a report containing its findings. The department shall submit the report to the governor, and to the legislature in the manner provided under s. 13.172 (2) of the statutes, no sooner than the first day of the 9th month beginning after the effective date of this subsection and no later than the first day of the 18th month beginning after the effective date of this subsection.".
