AB718-SA1,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by assembly substitute amendment 2, as follows:

AB718-SA1,1,3 1. Page 2, line 16: after that line insert:

AB718-SA1,1,5 " Section 4m. 77.54 (30) (a) 2. of the statutes is renumbered 77.54 (30) (a) 2. a. and amended to read:

AB718-SA1,1,8 77.54 (30) (a) 2. a. Electricity Except as provided in subd. 2. b., electricity and natural gas sold during the months of November, December, January, February, March, and April for residential use.

AB718-SA1, s. 4n Section 4n. 77.54 (30) (a) 2. b. of the statutes is created to read:

AB718-SA1,1,12 77.54 (30) (a) 2. b. In 2006, electricity and natural gas sold during the months of January, February, March, April, May, October, November, and December for residential use.".

AB718-SA1,1,13 2. Page 2, line 17: delete lines 17 and 18 and substitute:

AB718-SA1,2,2 " Section 5m. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after publication, except as follows:

AB718-SA1,2,5 (1) The renumbering and amendment of section 77.52 (2) (a) 2. of the statutes and the creation of sections 77.51 (4m) and (13s) and 77.52 (2) (a) 2. b. of the statutes take effect on July 1, 2007.".
