ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2005 ASSEMBLY BILL 994

AB994-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB994-AA1,1,3 1. Page 3, line 7: delete lines 7 to 9 and substitute "harm to that unborn child unless all of the following apply:

AB994-AA1,1,4 1. The woman knows that she is pregnant.

AB994-AA1,1,6 2. The woman uses a controlled substance or a controlled substance analog that she is not authorized to possess.

AB994-AA1,1,8 3. The unborn child dies as a result the woman's use of the controlled substance or controlled substance analog.".

AB994-AA1,1,10 2. Page 3, line 16: delete that line and substitute "analog, from a woman who knows that she is pregnant to her unborn child.".
