SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO 2005 SENATE BILL 1

October 27, 2005 - Offered by Joint Committee on Finance.

SB1-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB1-SA2,1,4 1. Page 9, line 20: delete the material beginning with "At its" and ending with "vice chairperson" on line 21 and substitute "The chief justice of the supreme court shall serve as chairperson of the committee.".

SB1-SA2,1,5 2. Page 9, line 22: delete lines 22 and 23 and substitute:

SB1-SA2,1,7 "(2) No person may be nominated by the committee unless the person receives the unanimous approval of the committee.".

SB1-SA2,1,8 3. Page 26, line 15: delete lines 15 to 17.

SB1-SA2,1,10 4. Page 27, line 18: delete the material beginning with "persons" and ending with "party." on line 23 and substitute "persons.".

SB1-SA2,1,12 5. Page 27, line 24: delete the material beginning with "who" and ending with "senate" on line 25.

SB1-SA2,1,13 6. Page 28, line 6: delete lines 6 to 15.

SB1-SA2,2,2 7. Page 28, line 16: delete the material beginning with ", other" and ending with "party," on line 17.

SB1-SA2,2,4 8. Page 28, line 18: delete the material beginning with "other" and ending with "party," on line 19.

SB1-SA2,2,6 9. Page 28, line 21: after "organization," insert "an officer or employee of a registrant under s. 11.05,".

SB1-SA2,2,8 10. Page 30, line 25: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 31, line 30, and substitute:

SB1-SA2,2,9 "19.42 (3) "Board" means the ethics government accountability board.

SB1-SA2, s. 65m Section 65m. 19.42 (10) (a) of the statutes is repealed.".

SB1-SA2,2,13 11. Page 54, line 14: delete lines 14 and 15 and substitute "section 15.07 (1) (c) of the statutes, of the members of the government accountability board who are initially".

SB1-SA2,2,14 12. Page 54, line 19: delete lines 19 and 20.

SB1-SA2,2,15 13. Page 56, line 21: delete "(1) (a) 2m. and".
