Section 8d. 104.06 of the statutes is renumbered 104.06 (2) (intro.) and

If, upon investigation, the department finds that there is
8reasonable cause to believe that the wages paid to any employee are not a
9living-wage, it The department shall appoint a wage council, selected so as fairly to
10represent employers, employees

(2) (a) The department, upon investigation, finds that there is

(2) (b) The department finds that the minimum hourly wage established
14under this chapter for adults in nontipped, nonagricultural employment multiplied
15by 2,080 is less than 150 percent of the poverty line for a family unit of one person
16and 3 years have elapsed since the department last adjusted the living wage under
17this chapter.".
