TO 2005 SENATE BILL 147

SB147-SSA3-SA3,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:
SB147-SSA3-SA3,1,2 21. Page 16, line 7: delete lines 7 to 16 and substitute:
SB147-SSA3-SA3,1,4 3" Section 18d. 104.06 of the statutes is renumbered 104.06 (2) (intro.) and
4amended to read:
SB147-SSA3-SA3,1,95 104.06 (2) (intro.) If, upon investigation, the department finds that there is
6reasonable cause to believe that the wages paid to any employee are not a
7living-wage, it
The department shall appoint a wage council, selected so as fairly to
8represent employers, employees, and the public, to assist in its investigations and
9determinations. The living-wage so if any of the following occurs:

3continental United States, as revised annually by the federal department of health
4and human services under 42 USC 9902 (2).

11under this chapter for adults in nontipped, nonagricultural employment multiplied
12by 2,080 is less than 150 percent of the poverty line for a family unit of one person
13and 3 years have elapsed since the department last adjusted the living wage under
14this chapter.".
