ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 15, TO 2005 SENATE BILL 403

SB403-AA15,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by senate substitute amendment 2, as follows:

SB403-AA15,1,3 1. Page 8, line 3: delete "(c), (d)," and substitute "(d)".

SB403-AA15,1,6 2. Page 8, line 4: after "and 945.04 (1m)" insert "and, with respect to a false statement submitted or made under s. 175.50 (7) (b), (9r), or (15) (b) 2., to enforce s. 946.32".

SB403-AA15,1,7 3. Page 16, line 24: after that line insert:

SB403-AA15,1,8 "(ij) "School" has the meaning given in s. 948.61 (1) (b).

SB403-AA15,1,10 (ik) "School premises" has the meaning given in s. 948.61 (1) (c) and includes school buses owned by a school.

SB403-AA15,1,12 (iL) "School zone" means any place within 1,000 feet of the grounds of a school but does not include school premises or any place within 100 feet of school premises.".

SB403-AA15,3,19 b. Participates in organized shooting competitions or military, law enforcement, or security training that gives him or her experience with firearms that the department determines is substantially equivalent to any course or class that meets the requirements of sub. (3m) (ar).

SB403-AA15,3,22 (bm) The person under par. (b) 5. who is providing the training or organizing a shooting competition in which the person has competed shall complete the form designed by the department under sub. (5) (b) 2.".

SB403-AA15,3,23 20. Page 47, line 1: delete "knowingly".

SB403-AA15,4,2 21. Page 47, line 2: delete lines 2 to 4 and substitute "handgun in a school zone unless one of the following applies:" .

SB403-AA15,4,5 "(bg) Neither a licensee nor an out-of-state licensee may carry a handgun within 100 feet of school premises unless one of the following applies:

SB403-AA15,4,6 1. The individual is in a motor vehicle.

SB403-AA15,4,7 2. The individual's possession of the handgun is described in s. 948.605 (2) (b).

SB403-AA15,4,10 (br) Neither a licensee nor an out-of-state licensee may carry a handgun on school premises unless the individual's possession of the handgun is described in s. 948.605 (2) (b).".
