(16) Identification card issuance costs. Upon receipt of a statement from
7the department of transportation of its costs incurred in issuing free identification
8cards under s. 343.50 (14), the board shall review the statement and determine
9whether the statement is correct. The board shall then certify to the department the
10amount of costs that the board determines to be correct.".

Federal aid. From the election administration fund, all moneys
7received from the federal government, as authorized by the governor under s. 16.54,
8to be used for election administration costs under P.L.
107-252 and to transfer to the
9appropriation account under s. 20.395 (5) (cr) a sum sufficient, not exceeding
10$250,000 in any fiscal year, to fully fund the costs incurred by the department of
11transportation in issuing free identification cards under s. 343.50 (5) and (6), as
12approved by the elections board under s. 5.05 (16).".
