(6e) "Governmental identification card" means a current, valid
8identification card issued to an elector by the federal government, by a municipality
9in this state, or by a public library in this state that contains a photograph of the
10elector or, in the case of an identification card issued by a public library, that requires
11the elector to maintain his or her photograph on file with the issuer.".

56.37 Verification of photographs not appearing on library cards. The
6board shall promulgate rules that require the maintenance of records concerning the
7use of identification cards issued by public libraries in this state that do not contain
8photographs on the face of the cards and verification of the identities of electors using
9those cards.".
