SB443-SSA1,1,2 An Act to amend 753.06 (4) (a) of the statutes; relating to: adding a circuit court branch in Calumet County.

As of August 1, 2007, this bill adds one circuit court branch in Calumet County.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

SB443-SSA1, s. 1 Section 1. 753.06 (4) (a) of the statutes is amended to read:

SB443-SSA1,1,5 753.06 (4) (a) Calumet County. The circuit has one branch. Commencing August 1, 2007, the circuit has 2 branches.

SB443-SSA1, s. 2 Section 2. Nonstatutory provisions.

SB443-SSA1,2,3 (1) The initial election for circuit judge for branch 2 of the circuit court for Calumet County shall be at the spring election of 2007 for terms commencing August 1, 2007, and ending July 31, 2013.

SB443-SSA1,2,7 (2) The authorized FTE positions for the circuit courts are increased by 1.0 GPR circuit judge position on August 1, 2007, to be funded from the appropriation under section 20.625 (1) (a) of the statutes, to provide an additional circuit court judge for the circuit court branch created by this act.

SB443-SSA1,2,11 (3) The authorized FTE positions for the circuit courts are increased by 1.0 GPR court reporter position on August 1, 2007, to be funded from the appropriation under section 20.625 (1) (a) of the statutes, to provide one court reporter for the circuit court branch created by this act.
