SB691-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB691-SA1,1,7 21. Page 2, line 16: delete lines 16 and 17 and substitute "service member has
3been issued orders into active duty by giving written notice to the mobile telephone
4service provider. The service member shall include a copy of the orders into active
5duty with the notice. The notice may be given by 1st class mail to the mobile
6telephone service provider or by delivering the notice and orders to the mobile
7telephone service provider's branch office.".
SB691-SA1,1,8 82. Page 3, line 8: after that line insert:
SB691-SA1,2,2 9"(g) If a mobile telephone service provider assesses a person in military service
10any penalty or fee after the person has terminated the contract under par. (c) or fails
11to make any refund required under par. (e), the service member shall have the right
12to receive damages equal to 3 times the amount of any penalty or fee assessed or

1refund denied and any legal costs and disbursements, including reasonable attorney
2fees.".
