ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2005 SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 2

SJR2-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the joint resolution as follows:

SJR2-AA1,1,2 1. Page 5, line 7: delete "question" and substitute "questions".

SJR2-AA1,1,3 2. Page 5, line 9: delete lines 9 to 12 and substitute:

SJR2-AA1,1,6 "Question 1: " 4-year terms of office for district attorneys. Shall section 4 of article VI of the constitution be amended to provide that district attorneys be elected to 4-year terms?"

SJR2-AA1,1,9 Question 2: "4-year terms of office for coroners. Shall section 4 of article VI of the constitution be amended to provide that coroners be elected to 4-year terms?"

SJR2-AA1,1,12 Question 3: " 4-year terms of office for elected surveyors. Shall section 4 of article VI of the constitution be amended to provide that elected surveyors be elected to 4-year terms?"

SJR2-AA1,2,3 Question 4: " 4-year terms of office for registers of deeds. Shall section 4 of article VI of the constitution be amended to provide that registers of deeds be elected to 4-year terms?"

SJR2-AA1,2,6 Question 5: " 4-year terms of office for county treasurers. Shall section 4 of article VI of the constitution be amended to provide that county treasurers be elected to 4-year terms?"

SJR2-AA1,2,9 Question 6: " 4-year terms of office for county clerks. Shall section 4 of article VI of the constitution be amended to provide that county clerks be elected to 4-year terms?"

SJR2-AA1,2,12 Question 7: " 4-year terms of office for clerks of circuit court. Shall section 12 of article VII of the constitution be amended to provide that clerks of circuit court be elected to 4-year terms?"".
