ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 3, TO ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 2, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 1

AB1-ASA2-AA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB1-ASA2-AA3,1,2 1. Page 2, line 24: delete "enforcement of".

AB1-ASA2-AA3,1,3 2. Page 39, line 10: after that line insert:

AB1-ASA2-AA3,1,4 " Section 56s. 11.36 (9) of the statutes is created to read:

AB1-ASA2-AA3,1,9 11.36 (9) The legislature reaffirms that use by any state employee or any employee of the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority, including legislative staff employed under s. 13.20 (1), of an unpaid leave of absence or annual leave for any lawful purpose, including political campaign purposes, does not contravene this section.".

AB1-ASA2-AA3,1,11 " Section 92s. 19.45 (10s) of the statutes is created to read:

AB1-ASA2-AA3,2,5 19.45 (10s) The legislature reaffirms that use by any state public official, including a legislative staff member employed under s. 13.20 (1), of an unpaid leave of absence or annual leave for any lawful purpose, including political campaign purposes, or receipt of services by a state public official from another state public official for any such purpose, does not contravene this section.".
