ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2007 ASSEMBLY BILL 215

AB215-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB215-AA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 7: delete "No" and substitute "No Subject to sub. (4), no".

AB215-AA1,1,7 2. Page 2, line 10: delete lines 10 to 13 and substitute "television, cable television, or satellite broadcast when such device is located in the motor vehicle at any point forward of the back of the operator's seat or, film, or other fluctuating video image, whether in broadcast, tape recorded, or optically or electronically recorded format, when the display for such device is visible to the operator while driving".

AB215-AA1,1,9 3. Page 2, line 14: delete the material beginning with "This" and ending with "vehicle." on line 18.

AB215-AA1,1,10 4. Page 3, line 2: delete "No" and substitute "Subject to sub. (4), no".

AB215-AA1,2,4 (a) Any global positioning system device installed or mounted, either permanently or temporarily, in the vehicle.

AB215-AA1,2,7 (b) The display by any device of information related to the operation, condition, or safety of the vehicle or that is intended to be used to enhance the driver's view forward, behind, or to the sides of a motor vehicle.

AB215-AA1,2,9 (c) The display by any device of information related to traffic, road, or weather conditions.

AB215-AA1,2,11 (d) Any device in a vehicle that permits the vehicle driver to monitor vehicle occupants seated rearward of the driver.".
