ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2007 ASSEMBLY BILL 337

AB337-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB337-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 2: delete "a penalty" and substitute "penalties".

AB337-AA1,1,3 2. Page 2, line 1: delete lines 1 to 6 and substitute:

AB337-AA1,1,6 "940.201 (3) Whoever, when charged with a crime, intentionally does any of the following to a person who the actor knows or should know is a witness to the crime with which the actor is charged is guilty of the following:

AB337-AA1,1,8 (a) A Class D felony if the crime with which the actor is charged is a felony and the actor causes bodily harm to the person.

AB337-AA1,1,9 (b) A Class E felony if one of the following applies:

AB337-AA1,1,11 1. The crime with which the actor is charged is a felony and the actor threatens to cause bodily harm to the person.

AB337-AA1,1,13 2. The crime with which the actor is charged is a misdemeanor and the actor causes bodily harm to the person.

AB337-AA1,2,2 (c) A Class F felony if the crime with which the actor is charged is a misdemeanor and the actor threatens to cause bodily harm to the person.".
