SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2007 ASSEMBLY BILL 393

AB393-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB393-SA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 3: after "Barron," insert "Calumet,".

AB393-SA1,1,3 2. Page 1, line 5: before that line insert:

AB393-SA1,1,4 " Section 1c. 753.06 (4) (a) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB393-SA1,1,6 753.06 (4) (a) Calumet County. The circuit has one branch. Commencing August 1, 2008, the circuit has 2 branches.".

AB393-SA1,1,7 3. Page 1, line 5: delete " Section 1" and substitute "Section 1m".

AB393-SA1,1,8 4. Page 2, line 18: after that line insert:

AB393-SA1,1,11 "(1c) The initial election for circuit judge for branch 2 of the circuit court for Calumet County shall be at the spring election of 2008 for terms commencing August 1, 2008, and ending July 31, 2014.".

AB393-SA1,1,12 5. Page 2, line 19: delete "(1)" and substitute "(1m)".

AB393-SA1,2,2 6. Page 3, line 16: delete the material inserted by assembly amendment 1 and substitute "5.0".

AB393-SA1,2,4 7. Page 3, line 18: delete the material inserted by assembly amendment 1 and substitute "provide 5".

AB393-SA1,2,7 8. Page 3, line 19: after "act", delete the material inserted by assembly amendment 1 and substitute "in Calumet, Dodge, Barron, Chippewa, and St. Croix counties".

AB393-SA1,2,9 9. Page 3, line 20: delete the material inserted by assembly amendment 1 and substitute "5.0".

AB393-SA1,2,11 10. Page 3, line 22: delete the material inserted by assembly amendment 1 and substitute "provide 5".

AB393-SA1,2,12 11. Page 3, line 23: after "in" insert "Calumet".
