ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2007 ASSEMBLY BILL 483

AB483-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB483-AA1,1,2 1. Page 3, line 11: after "services," insert "special inspection warrants,".

AB483-AA1,1,3 2. Page 9, line 14: after that line insert:

AB483-AA1,1,4 " Section 15m. 66.0119 (1) (b) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB483-AA1,1,10 66.0119 (1) (b) "Peace officer" means a state, county, city, village, town, town sanitary district or public inland lake protection and rehabilitation district officer, agent or employee charged under statute or municipal ordinance with powers or duties involving inspection of real or personal property, including buildings, building premises and building contents, and means a local health officer, as defined in s. 250.01 (5), or his or her designee.".

AB483-AA1,1,13 4. Page 35, line 4: delete lines 4 to 10.

AB483-AA1,2,1 5. Page 39, line 1: delete lines 1 to 3.

AB483-AA1,2,2 6. Page 39, line 4: delete lines 4 to 6 and substitute:

AB483-AA1,2,5 "(2m) Human health hazard. The treatment of section 254.01 (2) of the statutes first applies to an action or order concerning a human health hazard commenced on the effective date of this subsection.".
