3to generate electricity for residential use on that parcel or on an adjoining parcel of
4land under the same ownership, and the siting of wind turbines on that parcel causes
5not more than 10 percent of the parcel to be rendered unsuitable for producing
6merchantable timber. This paragraph does not apply to a parcel of managed forest
7land on which a wind turbine is located if the wind turbine has not been used to
8generate electricity for residential use for a period of 12 or more months".
