SB197-SSA1-SA2,1,3 21. Page 1, line 2: after "turf fertilizer" insert ", limiting local regulation of
3fertilizer,".
SB197-SSA1-SA2,1,4 42. Page 4, line 3: after that line insert:
SB197-SSA1-SA2,1,5 5" Section 1m. 94.644 of the statutes is created to read:
SB197-SSA1-SA2,1,7 694.644 Fertilizer; local regulation. (1) This section is an enactment of
7statewide concern for the purpose of providing uniform regulation of fertilizers.
SB197-SSA1-SA2,1,8 8(2) In this section:
SB197-SSA1-SA2,1,109 (a) "Distribution" means importation, consignment, sale, offering for sale,
10soliciting orders for sale, or otherwise supplying fertilizer for sale or use in this state.
SB197-SSA1-SA2,1,1111 (b) "Fertilizer" has the meaning given in s. 94.64 (1) (e).
SB197-SSA1-SA2,1,1212 (c) "Labeling" has the meaning given in 94.64 (1) (j).

1(b) "Political subdivision" means a city, village, town, or county.
SB197-SSA1-SA2,2,4 2(3) A political subdivision may not regulate the distribution or labeling of
3fertilizer and may not regulate the use of fertilizer when that use is in accordance
4with agronomic directions on the labeling.".
