SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2007 SENATE BILL 340

SB340-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB340-SA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 3: after "guard" insert "and making an appropriation".

SB340-SA1,1,4 2. Page 2, line 11: delete "affix" and substitute "provide to the applicant, to be affixed".

SB340-SA1,1,5 3. Page 2, line 11: delete "subsection" and substitute "subsection,".

SB340-SA1,1,7 4. Page 2, line 12: after "member" insert "and instructions for placement of the decal on the special plate".

SB340-SA1,1,8 5. Page 2, line 18: delete "issued a plate with" and substitute "provided".

SB340-SA1,1,9 6. Page 2, line 18: delete "affixed as provided".

SB340-SA1,1,11 7. Page 3, line 2: delete "affix to one of the plates" and substitute "provide to the applicant, to be affixed to one of these plates,".

SB340-SA1,2,12 (1) Notwithstanding section 16.42 (1) (e) of the statutes, if this subsection takes effect in fiscal year 2008-09, in submitting information under section 16.42 of the statutes for purposes of the 2009-11 biennial budget bill, the department of transportation shall submit information concerning the appropriation under section 20.395 (5) (cq) of the statutes as though the total amount appropriated under section 20.395 (5) (cq) of the statutes for the 2008-09 fiscal year was $15,800 less than the total amount that was actually appropriated under section 20.395 (5) (cq) for the 2008-09 fiscal year.

SB340-SA1, s. 2r Section 2r. Fiscal changes.

SB340-SA1,2,18 (1) In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of transportation under section 20.395 (5) (cq) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2007, the dollar amount is increased by $15,800 for the fiscal year in which this subsection takes effect to increase funding for decals for special registration plates issued to members and retired members of the national guard.".
