SENATE AMENDMENT 3, TO 2007 SENATE BILL 37

SB37-SA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB37-SA3,1,2 1. Page 10, line 18: delete lines 18 to 25.

SB37-SA3,1,3 2. Page 11, line 1: delete lines 1 to 9.

SB37-SA3,1,7 3. Page 14, line 5: delete lines 5 to 13 and substitute "use a children's product that has been recalled by the department, by an agency of the federal government, or by the children's product's manufacturer, distributor, or importer, and the recall has not been rescinded.".

SB37-SA3,1,8 4. Page 14, line 18: delete lines 18 to 20 and substitute:

SB37-SA3,1,11 "(c) The department shall maintain, update quarterly, and make available to the public on the Internet at no charge, notwithstanding s. 20.908, a list of all children's products to which any of the following applies:

SB37-SA3,1,13 1. The sale, lease, remanufacture, retrofit, or placement into commercial use of the children's product is prohibited under par. (a).

SB37-SA3,2,2 2. The children's product fails to conform to any state or federal safety law or regulation.

SB37-SA3,2,5 3. The department or an agency of the federal government has issued a warning that the intended use of the children's product constitutes a safety hazard and the warning has not been rescinded.".

SB37-SA3,2,6 5. Page 15, line 2: delete "(2) (a) 2." and substitute "(2) (a)".

SB37-SA3,2,7 6. Page 15, line 3: delete "(2) (a) 3." and substitute "(2) (c) 3.".
